Cougar Sightings



  • December, 2016 - Cougar indications near end of Hanington Road towards Bear Mountain.
  • To Report any cougar that is a concern please call the conservation reporting line 1-800-663-9453.
  • If residents are wanting to put notices at Community Mailboxes, it would be helpful to include the date in which the cougar was sighted, this will ensure the postings are current.  Thank you.

Black Bear Sightings


  
  • December, 2016 - Black bear indications in Hanington Creek Subdivison.  Please ensure that household Garbage/Compost is securely stored till the morning of collection day.
  • December, 2016 - Black bear indications on Hazlitt Creek Road.  Please ensure that household Garbage/Compost is securely stored till the morning of collection day.
  • September 30, 2016 - Black bear evidence on Munn Road near Compton.  Please ensure that household garbage is securely stored till the morning of collection day.
  • September 14, 2016 - A large black bear was sighted between the 1200 - 1300 blocks of Millstream Road.  September 15, 2016 same bear sighted near Millstream Road and Taylor Way.
